ATM’s air actuated Double D™ Throttle Stop is intended for high horsepower cars and marginal track conditions that limit traction when coming off of the stop down track. The rate of stop opening can be precisely controlled with air bleed screws, “softening the hit” leading to better consistent ETs. It simply adds another layer of tuning capability to your racecar.
ATM Redefines Throttle Stop Racing
While most stops simply limit horsepower, ATM Innovation’s new Double D™ Throttle Stops not only limit power when they are closed, they actually increase horsepower when they are fully open. The contoured billet body features unique “D”-shaped throttle blades that increase flow and horsepower. The “D”-shaped throttle blades not only flow more air when they are fully open they get the air flowing sooner for quicker engine recovery and response.
ATM Double D™ throttle stops are available for air actuated systems (P/N: DD-235A) or electric actuated systems (P/N: DD-235E), and they are compatible with gas or methanol.
